Speaker Bio: Scott Cruz represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He is particularly versed in all aspects of state and federal law relating to minimum wages, overtime exemptions, and wage payment issues. Scott also provides management and employee training on workplace legal issues and conducts workplace investigations and legal audits.  Governor JB Pritzker appointed Scott to be a member of the Illinois Labor Advisory Board, where he works jointly with representatives from management and labor to assist in advising the Illinois Department of Labor (IDOL) on labor policy and enforcement of laws.
