Mercyhealth to hold Memory and Dementia Caregiver Meetup 

CRYSTAL LAKE, Illinois—Mercyhealth will hold a Memory and Dementia Caregiver Meetup on Wednesday, August 27, 5:30 pm, at Mercyhealth Hospital and Physician Clinic–Crystal Lake, 875 S. Route 31.

Dr. Amerish Davé, Medical Director of the Mercyhealth Memory and Dementia Clinic, will lead a discussion for individuals who are caring for someone with dementia. Attendees will:

• Learn about advanced directives
• Learn about dementia updates

Dr. Davé is a neurologist who focuses much of his practice on Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

There is no cost to attend. The caregiver meetup is open to the public, including family members whose loved one is not a Mercyhealth patient. To register, call (888) 396-3729
