Representative Ness' 5th Annual Diaper Drive

Monday, October 27, 2025

Description

State Representative Suzanne Ness is excited to share that Amazon has generously donated 19,000 diapers and 108 cases of baby wipes to support families served by the D300 Food Pantry. This incredible “Special Delivery” marks the kickoff of Rep Ness’ 5th Annual Diaper Drive which will take place October 27th – November 3rd to benefit hometown food pantries within the district boundaries.

“We’re so grateful to Amazon for stepping up in such a big way,” said Representative Ness. “Their donation will go directly to help families in our community who are struggling to meet basic needs. It’s partnerships like this that truly make a difference.”

The annual Diaper Drive invites community members to donate diapers of all sizes and unopened packages of baby wipes. Over the past four years, the effort has provided thousands of essential items to families in need, including over 10,000 diapers and 6,000 baby wipes collected last year alone.

Collection boxes will be available at several community partners throughout out the district:

Algonquin Area Public Library – 2600 Harnish Drive Algonquin, IL 60102

Baird & Warner – 1557 South Randall Road Algonquin, IL 60102

New this year, we have added a Diaper Drive Wishlist to Amazon. Diapers can be purchased directly through Amazon and sent to Rep Ness’ district office. “We’re so grateful for the way our community shows up every year to support families,” said Rep Ness. “Diapers are a basic need that many families struggle to afford, and these donations make a real difference in their daily lives.”
