Prince of Peace is thrilled to be a host site for CYT Broadway Bound Day Camp! CYT Musical Theater Summer Day Camp is one of the most affordable quality musical theater camps in the area, and we are proud to be the host site of one of the two options for day camps. 

Step into the spotlight and get ready to shine in Broadway Bound, a fun-filled musical theater day camp for young performers, ages 5 -12! Featuring hit songs from Broadway favorites like Wicked, Frozen, The Lion King, Hairspray, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, and Descendants, this camp is perfect for kids who love to sing, dance, and act. Campers will learn essential theater skills, including stage directions, choreography, and vocal techniques, all while playing exciting theater games and making new friends.

Whether your child is a seasoned performer or stepping on stage for the first time, Broadway Bound is a fantastic way to build confidence, creativity, and a love for the performing arts. Our camper's friends and family are invited to a 30-minute showcase on the last afternoon of camp. Join us for a week of show-stopping fun as we bring the magic of Broadway to life!

 About CYT: 

Christian Youth Theater (CYT) is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit, theater arts training program for students ages 5–18.

Each local chapter conducts three sessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring) teaching drama, voice, dance, and specialty theatrical workshops at weekly two-hour classes over 9–10 weeks. Enrolled students ages 8-18 have the opportunity to audition and perform (or work behind-the-scenes) in a Broadway-style musical performed for the community. 

CYT Chicago also offers summer camps for kids ages 5–18, where they will spend a week learning musical theater skills, culminating in a showcase performance for family and friends! CYT stands in the forefront in its commitment to the highest ethical, moral, technical, and artistic standards of excellence. Instructors are professionals, qualified in teaching and/or performing, who understand our mission statement, values, objectives, and goals.
