Providing Feedback/Coaching, Facilitating Effective Performance Reviews, Expectations and Growth

Speaker: Anita Countryman, Leadership Consultant linkedin.com/in/anita-countryman-0829553

Have you ever heard someone say “I am doing something totally different on a daily basis for the job I was hired to do"? Could they clearly state their job roles and responsibilities? If so, their manager has done a good job with role clarity and expectations. When your employee understands their roles & goals, everybody wins. Developing an effective coaching style with regular opportunities for questions and feedback will make employee reviews a breeze.

Objectives:

  • See a coaching session in action and review coaching and feedback plans that work.
  • Performing effective and motivating employee reviews.
  • Practice discussing your expectations.

Hour 2

Time Management Techniques

Speaker: Amy Martin,Training and Development Manager at Express Employment Professionals linkedin.com/in/amy-yule-martin-a976659

You wake up in the morning feeling especially productive. Today is the day, you think, that you will knock out a few important projects on your to-do list. A few minutes later, you get a call from the Receptionist. She won't be able to make it in today. No problem, you think. Another team member can cover for the day. As you are driving to the office, you remember that person is on vacation. As you mentally review additional options for coverage, you also remember you have a performance review at 10:00 and payroll needs to be reviewed and approved by noon. You take the time to greet everybody first thing while finding a good Samaritan to cover the phones. When you sit down at your desk you see emails about a client concern. Then a new hire pops in your door for some advice. Sound all too familiar? The project may have to wait for another day, or will it? Enter time management techniques for managers. Learn ways to re-balance your days despite the most challenging events. Think of a specific challenge you are facing! We'll help you brainstorm ways to solve the issue.

Objectives:

  • Discover techniques to prioritize your workload.
  • Develop realistic boundaries to maintain your sanity.
  • Learn why taking breaks is essential (nobody is judging you).

Registration Fee: $50.00
