
Age Strong is a small-group class focused on building the essential strength needed for common daily activities that can start to feel challenging over time. Tasks such as emptying the dishwasher, carrying laundry upstairs, getting up from a chair, unloading groceries from the car, or playing with grandchildren on the floor, are addressed during the class.
Through targeted, functional exercises, Age Strong helps you rebuild the muscle strength, endurance, and mobility that support these real-world tasks.
This class takes place in the Balance Center at Smith Physical Therapy+ and is led by Jennifer Myatt. Each session emphasizes proper form, joint protection, and safe progression, ensuring that you’re not just getting stronger, you’re learning how to move better.
The class meets once a week on Wednesdays, from 1-2pm for 6 weeks.
