Job Title: Staff Accountant Manager

Job Duration: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $70-$90K/year depending on tax knowledge and experience

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location: East Dundee, IL

Job Description:

• Oversee bookkeepers as they prepare monthly bank reconciliations, as well as payroll & sales tax generation
• Review of financial statements and general ledger for accuracy & consistency
• Assist with new-client onboarding and back work
• Research and respond to IRS & Department of Revenue notices as needed
• Provide tax planning for owners based upon trending of company profits
• Tax return preparation for small businesses and their owners
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years tax experience required
• Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience required
• Associates Degree in Accounting
• General knowledge of income taxes
• Ability to read and analyze a Balance Sheet & Income Statement
• High level of professionalism, energy, and positive attitude
• Organized & dependable self-starter that can manage and prioritize multiple tasks & projects independently
