DESCRIPTION:Come together in person to honor and remember McHenry County's brave heroes for Gold Star Remembrance Day. It's a heartfelt gathering where we pay tribute to those who've come from our communities and made the ultimate sacrifice from the First World War onwards. Expect inspiring moments\, stories shared\, and a chance to connect with others who cherish these memories. We will also be dedicating the McHenry County Gold Star Flag and Grave Marker. Let's unite to honor and celebrate courage\, love\, and legacy. Don't miss out on this meaningful day see you there! The doors will open at 12:30pm for people to browse the plethora of flag displays from the various eras. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 pm and will last approximately 2 hours. Please note there will be a brief intermission. Light hor d'oeuvres and drinks will be available.
