Outputs & Outcomes: Measuring Nonprofit Impact (A Webinar!)
Tuesday, September 21, 2021 (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM) (CDT)
Description
Date/Time: Tuesday, September 21 from 9:00 - 11:30 am
Format: Webinar
Speaker: Alicia Schatteman, Director of the Center for Nonprofit and NGO Studies at Northern Illinois University
This workshop is a hands-on exploration about how your organization can demonstrate impact with concrete examples, models, and worksheets. Using a backwards mapping model, we begin with identifying the overall impact you want to have linked to your mission and strategic goals; then break down the inputs, activities, and outputs that will lead to that impact by demonstrating the use of logic models; review how you will select indicators to track your progress; and review methods of data collection and analysis.
Objectives: Define performance measurement concepts such as inputs, activities, outputs and outcomes. Create a logic model to demonstrate a program or organizational effectiveness. Identify the data you need and research methods to collect that data. Review qualitative and quantitative data methods and analysis.
